ABOUT MICHEL HAAG
Michel Haag embarked on his creative journey with studies in advertising and cinema in Brazil, where his passion for visual storytelling first bloomed. This path naturally led him to photography, a realm where he has thrived ever since.
Beginning his career as a Makeup Artist with a diploma from The Make-up Technicians, Sydney in 2011, Michel honed his craft over three years at a prestigious photographer studio, refining his skills and techniques.
In 2014, Michel's career gained momentum when he became part of the team at Giorgio Armani Cosmetics in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Two years later, in 2016, his talent and dedication were acknowledged, resulting in his elevation to State Makeup Artist for Giorgio Armani. In this capacity, he conducted master classes and took part in Armani Fashion Shows across NSW. By 2019, he had advanced to the role of Manager at Giorgio Armani Cosmetics in the David Jones flagship store in Sydney City, further enhancing his reputation as a leader in the industry.
In addition to Giorgio Armani, Michel's portfolio includes collaborations with esteemed brands such as Vogue and L'Oreal. His clientele features distinguished personalities like Edwina McCann (Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Australia), Julia Bishop (Former Politician), Rove McManus (Australian Comedian), Chanel Stewart (Australian Model), Kate Reid (Chef and founder of Lune), among many others.
